Common questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so cancellation happens there: on your iPhone, open Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → CrewDoc → Cancel Subscription. CrewDoc Pro stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, then the account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted — your jobs, photos, and reports stay exactly where they are.
I paid but the app still shows the Free plan.
Open Settings → Subscription in CrewDoc and tap Restore Purchases. That re-checks your Apple ID's entitlement. If it still shows Free afterward, email us — include the Apple ID email you purchased with and we'll sort it out.
Where are my photos stored? Can you recover them?
Your jobs, photos, and reports are stored on your device and synced to your own iCloud account — they never touch our servers. That's deliberate: your customers' job sites aren't our data to hold. The trade-off is that we can't recover them for you. Keep iCloud sync on and make sure you have enough iCloud storage, and your work is backed up automatically.
Do I need an account to use CrewDoc?
No. Create jobs, take photos, and send reports without signing in. Signing in with Apple keeps your plan in sync across devices and is required to subscribe to CrewDoc Pro.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. That removes your sign-in identity, business info, and plan from our servers. Your jobs and photos live in your own iCloud, so they stay with you — delete the app to remove them from your device. If you have an active subscription, cancel it separately in the App Store first.
Does the camera work without cell service?
Yes. Everything — creating jobs, taking photos, recording walkthroughs — works fully offline. Photos are saved to your device the instant you take them, before anything touches the network, and sync later when you're back in coverage. Basements and dead zones are exactly the case it's built for.
Why does my report say "Created with CrewDoc"?
Free-plan reports carry CrewDoc branding. CrewDoc Pro replaces it with your own logo and brand colors, and removes the CrewDoc mark entirely.
